While all of these offices are non-partisan, I think it is worth while to note that 2 of our members will be seated on the next City Council.&nbsp; Gary Rasmussen and Dan Drummond has been re-elected, and elected respectively. We will be sending two Obama Delegates and three Clinton Delegates to the 11th CDDC Convention in May and to the State Convention in June.<br><br>As it turned out, we did not have more delegates pre-filing for selection to the conventions, for the candidate that they were supporting, than we had positions available.&nbsp; Our special guest this Wednesday will be Norbert Pink.&nbsp; Mr. Pink is with the Great Falls group of the Sierra Club.&nbsp; He will be presenting an overview of the Sierra Club and how the organization impacts our local environment.&nbsp; Also, he will be informing us on how we can get involved right here in our neck of the woods.<br><br>Then, after our Breakfast on Saturday, April 19th, you can join in and help clean-up one of our City parks.&nbsp; We are holding the presentation at the City of Fairfax  Regional Library.&nbsp; The video itself is about 45 minutes and we'll  follow it up with an impromptu discussion about the topic.&nbsp; What is the  topic you ask?&nbsp; Well, the title of the video is "Money As Debt".&nbsp; It's  all about how we have become a debt-laden society, how we got here and  what to do about it.<br>

<p>Our call to caucus is now  available on our website. &nbsp;As you know, the  City of Fairfax Democratic Committee is holding an unassembled caucus for  selection of state delegates on <b>Saturday, April 19, 2008, from 12:00 PM -  4:00 PM</b> at the City of Fairfax Regional Library, 10360 North Street,  Fairfax, VA 22030.</p>
<p>Absentee voting will be  held on <b>Thursday, April 17, 2008, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM</b> at the City Hall  Annex, 10455 Armstrong Street, Fairfax, VA 22030.</p>

As  we discussed at our last meeting, we will be having our unassembled  caucus on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the Fairfax City Regional  Library, at 12 noon - 4 PM.&nbsp; If you plan on being on the ballot as a  delegate for the candidate of your choice, you must file your <a href="http://www.fairfaxcitydemocrats.org/files/2008-delegate-prefiling-form.pdf" target="_blank">Delegate Prefiling Form</a>, and your <a href="http://www.fairfaxcitydemocrats.org/files/2008-caucus-declaration-form.pdf" target="_blank">Caucus Declaration Form</a> with me by 5:00 PM on Monday, April 14th.&nbsp; You can fax your form to me at 888-244-0828, send it via email, or mail it in (<a href="http://www.fairfaxcitydemocrats.org/contacts.htm" target="_blank">the address</a> is on our website).<br>

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Once again I am writing this note to you after a significant Presidential Primary/Caucus day.&nbsp; And once again, <a track="on" href="http://rs6.net/tn.jsp?t=chqqlkcab.0.0.6dbycicab.0&amp;ts=S0325&amp;p=http%3A%2F%2Felection.cbsnews.com%2Fcampaign2008%2Fd_delegateScorecard.shtml&amp;id=preview" linktype="undefined" target="_blank">it is too close to call</a> between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. <br><br>That
doesn't mean we have to wait to decide who our delegates will be.&nbsp; The
Virginia numbers are in and as you know from my previous message, we
have a total of 8 delegates and 4 alternates.&nbsp; That means 12 of us can
participate as Delegates at both our 11th Congressional District
Convention and the VA State Party convention.&nbsp; From among those
convention delegates, our national delegates will be selected.<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">How Can I Be A Delegate?</span><br><br>Join
us this Thursday evening at 7:30 PM at our Committee meeting, and you
will have all your questions answered.&nbsp; I will be presenting an
overview of the delegate selection process and we will have the filing
forms available.&nbsp; Also, I am pleased to announce that Mr. George Burke,
11th Congressional District Committee Chair will be joining us.&nbsp; So if
I can't answer your question, I'm sure he will be able to.<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">Congressional Candidates</span><br><br>As
I mentioned previously, Thursday, March 6th promises to be an exciting
evening in the life of our Committee as all four of our Congressional
