Gerry Connolly Wins Primary

Yesterday, as you know, was the Congressional Democratic primary here in the City
of Fairfax. Our candidate for Congress in November is Gerry Connolly.
Congratulations to the Connolly campaign!
We were very fortunate this year to have such a stellar list of candidates. I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we are all better-off for having such a qualified and fantastic group of candidates. Our thanks goes out to the Byrne, Denneny, and Alexander campaigns for their hard work, and passion for spreading our progressive message. We wish them well in the future.

DPVA State Convention
This weekend, Saturday, June 14th is the Democratic Party of Virginia State Convention. Even if you are not a delegate, you can still participate as a volunteer. The credentials committee is seeking volunteers to assist the committee at the convention on June 13th & 14th.
Also, we still have one Obama delegate vacancy. If you are interested in volunteering or being an Obama delegate, please reply to this message and let me know.
Warner Campaign
The Warner for Senate campaign is off to a fantastic start. If you haven't had an opportunity to see the first Warner commercial, check it our here.

By now you should've received your Sponsorship flyer in the mail. Please consider joining in and helping us finance the many things we do as an engaged and thriving Committee. Neighbor Calling Program
We know that there are voters in your neighborhood critical to Democratic victory. And we know that you're the best person to talk to them.
That's why we need you. By signing up to be a Neighborhood Volunteer you will have the power to contact 25 voters in your neighborhood. Your efforts are going to make the difference and will help us take back the White House in 2008.
