Being the conservation-conscious group that we are, we have a couple of events lined-up this month in observance of Earth Day, which as you know is April 22nd.

It all starts this week at our Wednesday, April 2nd Committee Meeting.  Our special guest this Wednesday will be Norbert Pink.  Mr. Pink is with the Great Falls group of the Sierra Club.  He will be presenting an overview of the Sierra Club and how the organization impacts our local environment.  Also, he will be informing us on how we can get involved right here in our neck of the woods.

Then, after our Breakfast on Saturday, April 19th, you can join in and help clean-up one of our City parks.  Trash bags and great company will be provided, all you need to do is pitch in.

Candidates Night

As you know, we are meeting this Wednesday, not Thursday, so that those who would like to attend the American Legion's Candidates Night can do so.  The event will take place in the ballroom starting at 7:00 PM.

11th CDDC Sturdivant Awards Banquet

Join us along with the 11th Congressional District Democratic Committee for an evening of recognition and mingling with fellow Democrats.  The banquet will be held on Sunday, April 13th, 5:30 - 7:30 PM.  Full details are available here.
