Saturday Morning Breakfast

Saturday Morning Breakfast
Feb. 16th, Old Country Buffet, 9:00 AM

Our next Committee Meeting will be Thursday, March 6, 2008, at 7:30 p.m.

What crazy weather we had on Primary day, huh? Yet, despite the frigid weather we had an unprecedented turnout in Democratic voters. This is perhaps a testament to the exciting things that are happening within our Party. While the delegate race is not over between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, it is undeniable that the Progressive message is being heard, and our impact on American public policy will be stronger.

At our next meeting, our Registrar John Harold will be able to provide you with all of the final details regarding the election results. In the meantime, I think you will be happy to know that of the 5,023 people who voted in the City, about 70% of them were Democrats. That means we have a whole lot of company. Now it's our job to welcome them to the family.

In that vein, remember to make time to join us this Saturday, February 16th at 9:00 AM at Old County Buffet. We will likely be gathering in the "Fairfax Gathering" room, but, if we're not able to secure that room, look for us elsewhere in the restaurant.  Delegate David Bulova will be joining us for an informal discussion.

So tell all your friends and invite your neighbors for a good way to kick-off the weekend.

I hope to see you there!

Joseph Harmon
